Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
Information on Not Another Toaster is transmitted using SSL encryption technology for all transactions (indicated by the "lock" symbol on the bottom right hand corner of your browser). This encryption is of the same strength used by internet banking facilities. This process encrypts your payment information including your credit card number before it travels over the Internet. This is an industry standard for secure on line transactions.
Credit card numbers
Credit card numbers are not stored on this site. At the time of purchase, all credit card numbers are passed to the bank via an encrypted link and not stored by Not Another Toaster. This ensures your credit card details remain private and secure.
Physical security
The Not Another Toaster servers are stored in the Australian Stock Exchange building ensuring the highest standard of quality and safety. This data centre is monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week, with power backup generators in place and all access requiring security guard escort.
Orders
Not Another Toaster requests information from couples and guests, such as contact details like name, postal address and credit card details. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill in guest orders. If Not Another Toaster has difficulty processing an order this contact information is used to contact the user.
Passwords
All honeymoon couples are assigned a log in and password, which allows only the couple access to the information on their registry as well as editing access. Guests are supplied with their own log in and password to view the registry and purchase a gift.
